"What did the egg say before he got boiled?" [Name] asked, remembering a joke that Momo told her just a couple of weeks ago. Her breakfast—two boiled eggs, which reminded her of the joke—sat before her, almost forgotten.

She was staring at Rin with an odd look in her eyes. It spoke trouble. He looked at her incredulously.

"Eggs don't talk," he said, finishing the last of his coffee and flipping a page in his book.

"Pshhhh," she said, leaning forward in her seat. She reached out and grabbed his book, tossing it behind her. She plopped back in her seat, crossing her legs.

"I was reading that." he said with a glare. She glared back.

"It's a joke, Rin," [Name] said, tapping a finger on the glass dinner table. "It doesn't matter if the egg talks."

Rin scoffed, standing up to get himself another mug of coffee. "If that doesn't matter then how are you so sure the egg is a male?"

[Name] slapped a palm to her forehead. He never gets jokes.

"Cuz it needs to be a dude. Now answer the joke, sweetgums."

He looked at her pointedly before replying, "I don't know. What?"

" 'It's gonna talk me a while to get hard cuz I just got laid.' Hawhawhaw."

She started to giggle uncontrollably. Not getting the joke, his brow furrowed and he set down his mug. "I don't understand," he said slowly.

[Name] stopped laughing. Giving him a look that said, 'Are you stupid?'

"I laid it out for you; it's not hard understand," she said, emphasizing her words.

"I just don't understand why a newly laid egg would take longer to boil than an older egg."

[Name] sighed exasperatingly, standing up. She leaned on the counter, giving him a hard look. "Did you not get the innuendo?" At his blank look, she sighed again. "Rin, getting hard takes longer after you get laid."

Realization dawned on Rin and his forehead smoothed, revealing his milky white shark like smirk. [Name] almost smiled but he said, "I still don't understand."

He straightened his stance and closed the little distance between him and [Name]. Wrapping his arms around her, he blew on her ear, delighted at her shiver.

"I think I need a demonstration."
